Honestly, I don't see why this is such a big deal. Who the **** cares when you're quoted? Chances are you'll be in the thread anyway. Are you all that shallow? Why did I even ask that question?

Shallow :D

Quote notifications are a staple on most forums Trollheart. Without them you easily miss people's responses to you, which can be seen as rude imo (especially if you've asked something and someone has took the time to help you). Nothing to do with being shallow.

Plankton 11-02-2017 03:11 PM

Before it was implemented, all you'd have to do is a vanity search.

*shrug*

I got some feels rn for when a fairly large city's HS commissions you to do some artwork based on their sketch.

Pet_Sounds 11-02-2017 03:30 PM

TFW you used to get quote notifications but disabled them because they were annoying.

Meh, I'm pretty much checking each thread I'm interested in, and would have posted in, and if I haven't replied in a timely manner to someone (like, if Frownland tells me to go **** myself and I don't respond to him, or Batty says reply to this or you're admitting you're a pussy) they need to take into account the time zones. Also the fact that I may not give a ****, and in the latter case a system that tells me I've been quoted will be no use to me, as I'll just ignore it anyway. :D

**** you, I was cringing at blood pouring out of your ruptured ear canal and hoping you'd be able to get the stain out of the pillow.

Phew. You're lucky. Ear infection pain will make you cry like a little girl ... oh. Wait. Never mind.
:shycouch:
Seriously though, it's the worst, and it's pain you can't relieve since it's inside your ear. You just keep stupidly pressing your hand, a pillow or anything against the side of your head in a vain hope that it might lessen the pain. It doesn't. Mine lasted about a week. Worst week of my entire life, painwise.

When I was young I would always get ear infections (I don't know why). And they hurt like hell, so yeah, I'm really glad I haven't gotten any in a while. :yeah:

TFW you think that basic human decency should be like insurance where it doesn't cover every eventuality, so that when you're at work and you see a retard with a hand puppet you can laugh like a psychopath and nobody acts like you're a bad person.

Is this some sort of euphemism?

A literal retarded person with a hand puppet of a dog wearing bunny ears. It was magical.

A hand puppet is presumably as intelligent as its operator.

Often moreso.

TFW when something takes an hour longer than it should because you have to keep explaining basic **** to a nitwit who unsolicitedly volunteered their services.

tfw your dad has been in jail and still has two months left, and your mom is having an affair

she said one day that she found some "sick and disturbing things" on his phone and hasn't talked to him since. That was none of my business so even if there were no details I still would rather have not heard it, because that's when the whackness took full hold.

we got 2 letters from him today today, one from oct 24th and the other written yesterday. And that's even less of my business and I probably shouldn't have but before I knew it I was reading them, and it was the most heartfelt thing I've ever read.

I'll always talk about him sucking and otherwise being mental and down right out of control, and how it doesn't mean anything, but I just knew those words were 100% genuine

Man, good luck with that ****. "Sick and disturbing" can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people, and clearly the first thing you think is pedophilia, but that's just a knee jerk reaction that might mean absolutely nothing. He might just be a furry or something. My thoughts and prayers go to anyone who can go **** themselves, but do good, dude.

Mondo Bungle 11-08-2017 07:20 PM

I figured that it could only be something sexual or violent or both, cuz I really couldn't think of anything disturbing that wouldn't at least be slightly under one of those umbrellas

but from the letters I could at least deduct that he's not raping and torturing and eating children

Good luck with your dad who masturbates to My Little Pony.

Mondo Bungle 11-08-2017 07:30 PM

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with gay sex

just remembered another whack thing, my dad said the doctor found a lump next to a testicle and he's going to be sent somewhere for an ultrasound

TFW you get your midterm results...

... and your average is 96. Phew.

The Batlord 11-11-2017 03:06 AM

TFW you wake up literally three minutes before your alarm goes off and you almost wish you hadn't cause the only thing worse than waking up to your alarm is having to wait for it like a swift kick to the nuts but you'll be damned if you get up right now cause **** the police.

what was wrong with it? as someone who works as a parts consultant i can guarantee you they ripped you off if you had it serviced at a dealership

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-14-2017 01:08 PM

learning to do the work on your car is so ****ing worth it. not only will it save you hundreds of dollars in labor but you can also charge family and friends to do it for them. nothing beats a case of beer for doing an oil change.

manufacturers are getting smarter tho, new vehicles pretty much require a diagnostic tool in order to complete even the simplest of jobs.

It must be a dialect thing but I've never heard anybody call glass wine.
