Pussy

The Batlord 04-07-2015 04:46 AM

Also, TFW you take a massive, disgusting, almost event horizon shit right before your mother has to shower for work.

Plankton 04-07-2015 06:26 AM

TFW you're at work, trying to get **** done, but you're still drunk from the night before. Hooboy... this is gonna be a long day.

TFW you stumble on a song you forgot existed:

Some trap compilation I was listening to used the chorus as a sample.. It was a great moment.

Pet_Sounds 04-09-2015 10:13 AM

TFW you crank up the volume because "London Calling" is playing… but it turns out to be "Roxanne".

....they are similar.

"I Can't Stand Losing You" is also similar to both "Roxanne" and "London Calling" with the weird, abrupt guitar groove.

Sequoioideae 04-10-2015 06:20 PM

When you sleep whatever time you had away, and people flake on you. Nawt cool, nawt...

The Batlord 04-10-2015 10:03 PM

TFW you drink four cups of coffee to study for a test you are almost entirely unprepared for, kind of don't flunk it, but now the coffee has worn off and you feel like used ass.

Also, there's a rather large bug in my room, so I can't go to sleep.

ladyislingering 04-13-2015 11:16 AM

tfw your boyfriend is a middle child and his family has resolved to go on a weekend trip, leaving on the day of his birthday - to which he responds that he may have something better to do anyway, and all you can think of is this damn clip that turned into a meme:

I'm so sorry, I love you, my brain is just broken and inappropriate

Key 04-13-2015 11:19 AM

Well as we learned last year, I don't like my birthday.

DwnWthVwls 04-13-2015 12:31 PM

Haha, you're one year closer to dying.

Sucker.

I don't really like mine either (which is why I'm spending the week in my own company).

innerspaceboy 04-13-2015 06:26 PM

So this exists. That Peeling Feeling

An entire subreddit dedicated to the joys derived from peeling the shrink/plastic off new sh*t.

Because internet.

Frownland 04-13-2015 07:51 PM

I wonder if there's a reddit dedicated to bring able to remove **** stains of years past while you relieve yourself. Way easier than getting a toilet brush.

DwnWthVwls 04-13-2015 07:54 PM

Is that cause you live in California and you let your shit ferment before flushing?

Droughts are for suckers.

Frownland 04-13-2015 07:56 PM

I'm actually trying to use up as much as I can before I lose the opportunity.

DwnWthVwls 04-13-2015 07:59 PM

My class just did 9 mini-presentations surrounding the drought, from fish to farming to groundwater policy.

Has it significantly impacted you or the people you know?

It's disgraceful just how unreported the jenkem epidemic is in California.

We have mother****ers pestering us all the time with signs and emails. I do know people who work at lakes and they don't have jobs during the winter/spring because the lake dries up. That's a downside some people I know have experienced. In the long run it helpes them because they ended up getting better jobs but it does suck for people with permanent jobs at lakes.

Pet_Sounds 04-14-2015 03:50 PM

TFW you have to leave plug to do homework just when Nea was playing your favourite David Bowie cover. :(

The Batlord 04-14-2015 04:08 PM

TFW you're glad you weren't in plug with a bunch of sixties/seventies dorks.

Actually, you would have liked it. We had some pretty heavy stuff going--no '60s and very little '70s.

GuD 04-16-2015 09:27 PM

tfw you didn't ask for 4/20 or the day after off and you get them off anyways.

The Batlord 04-19-2015 01:00 AM

TFW your XBox freezes after almost a full day and it feels like you've been let out of prison.

Frownland 04-20-2015 09:38 PM

TFW you can't afford cigarettes but you go out on campus with your guitar and busk, making enough to fund the habit for a couple of weeks.

Heh, you actually make enough to last a couple of weeks? Lucky ********... :D

Frownland 04-21-2015 01:01 PM

TFW you come across a mediafire link that hasn't been nabbed>>>>>>

TFW you're a lucky *******. It was the most I've ever made and I only played for around an hour. I think it was because it was 4/20 that people had a greater appreciation for the weird **** I was playing (prepared guitar on a guitar with six strings, one of which is broken but I still play with a bow).

I love prepared guitar and experimental music in general, but I've never been able to understand what advantages using a bow on a guitar actually has. It does make a fuzzy sound, but nothing which seems unreachable by other ways while leaving the instrument itself available for more options. The sound is a tad different when you release contact, but then again I feel I can say the same thing about this as I did in my last sentence.

It's really cool for harmonics, plus the amount of pressure you use can give you a lot of different sounds. I mainly used it for the broken string where I would grab it, pull it, then bow it, which gave me more interesting sounds than if I was just bowing the unbroken strings. If I did it slowly I could get a percussive noise almost because it would skip along the bow. Another thing that I do is stick a pencil in the strings to elevate the d and g strings so I can access those without bowing any others.

Hm, the concept of bowing on a broken string is one I had never heard of before and it does sound interesting. I usually employ paper clips on or thread between my strings, but I'll be sure to try this method out sometime as well, thanks!

But hey, back on topic: TFW one wants to jam with Frownland but he's on the other side of the world. :banghead:

TFW you're traversing the first void, and forget to leave an anchor point, so you get lost and find yourself in the second void without an infinite amount of strength, and you get slaughtered by a rival clan. Anubis's teachings didn't help me.
