They talk about connectivity and bridges but in terms of practice they live exactly like Trump. I’m no more welcome there than I am in the Trump Tower or Mar a Lago and they use the exact same power structure to exclude me. You can’t hoard wealth and property and not be the problem. I respect the republicans in north Texas more than property owners in the Bay Area because in actual practice they’re less exclusionary. The Republicans around here may be misguided but they’re not part of an oligarchical ruling class that actively limits my mobility. The Bay Area is prohibitively expensive. That’s real tangible oppression not just a philosophy.

Opera is the Big K.R.I.T. of the 1800s.

Nah I'm not really into opera either but give it a chance, you might be surprised. The few that I'm familiar with I really enjoy.

I don't always trust a lot of these economic reports because Utah had one that claimed we had an all time low of homelessness when that was completely contradictory to the truth. Fact was that our homeless people aren't checking into the shelter and the head count goes by what's in the shelter.

TL/DR numbers don't always tell the truth.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

it's not that they lie, they just don't always tell the whole story

moving to N Texas could be a great economic decision, but then you'd have to live in N Texas
