Don't think I've heard Animals. Maybe will check it out. I've a soft spot for cheesy music.

The Scorpions are more likely to get away with a Who cover, because yet again in singer Klaus Meine we are talking about one the best singers in the history of metal and his Germanic nasal sounding voice is unforgettable.
i would have liked "Behind Blue Eyes" better if Durst rapped it

Yes, "Too Bad." Very underrated. "Photograph" is the only song since that I like much.

oh god yes, Animals is the only reason I like Nickelback, I'm pretty sure they have other uptempto songs but good god, I use that song whenever I play racing games and it works so well at keeping me pumped for it.

I think it was the pseudo-christian presence in their music that tended to make people scoff at them, moreso than the music itself.
Scott Stapp's vocals is also another thing that put people off, I know it put me off and that's why I ended up loving Alterbridge so much more.

Now that I think about it, Stapp's singing style is pompous. The only Creed song I moderately like is "One," also probably the only Creed hit without a video (which would have been lame, I'm sure).

Agreed, a lot of people dislike very mainstream bands for this reason and quite often are blinded when it comes to actually judging the music for what it actually is. I quite like Shindown as well!

I left that out on purpose.

For those on here that don`t know, Jethro Tull`s "Crest of A Knave" actually won a Grammy as the best metal album of 1989 If that`s not shocking enough, they beat both Metallica and Jane`s Addiction in the process.

Maybe I shouldn`t have admitted to that, but if the truth be told I do like some of the songs off their albums.

I wouldn`t dream of buying anything of theirs though!
