Right on

Death To Everyone is my favorite track as well. If you're interested in hearing more Will Oldham The Letting Go would be the logical next step.

Are you talking to me? If so, I'm not mad about aggressive music though I enjoyed some of the Slayer discog I listened to last year, and I can listen to some aggressive music sure. I don't like punk, what little I've heard of it, but that's not to say there isn't something hidden away in the genre that might appeal to me.

I'm into melody, if that helps you understand me better. Or what I consider melody anyway.

If you want a punk album with lots of melody I'd suggest Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned.

Tons of hummable tunes on that.

Oh I've heard a little Damned. That's a good one. Will add it.

Title: Z
Artiste: My Morning Jacket
Genre: Indie rock?

Love
1. Really like the wailing synth, plus the whistling on “It beats 4 U”
2. “Off the record” sounds like The Jam! That guitar riff is ripped off, isn't it? Love the instrumental ending.
3. Totally love “Into the woods”: just excellent.
4. Guitar solo at the end of “Lay low” is superb.
5. Ah I just like everything on this.

Hate
Nothing.

End result: Great album, really enjoyed it. Heard these guys (sort of) on “American Dad” but never heard them properly. Great stuff.

So, Love or Hate?
Another Love.

Chances of a full review: 8/10

Or the Replacements later albums. Or Violent Femmes first two. They're not really punk in the traditional sense, but they're certainly punk-derived.

Thanks. I don't actually particularly want to explore punk, I was just answering the question.

Very glad you liked this Trolly. Here's another one you might like

James Blake - S/T

Much different than At The Drive-In and MMJ but still really good.

Ah, if you want melody, not liking punk makes sense. Some do have more melody but the majority is not very melodic.
Slayer did do a hardcore punk cover album, since they were inspired by Hardcore Punk bands. If you like Slayer you might find some Crossover Thrash (Hardcore Punk + Thrash Metal) band you like.
